Parka coats still look great this year

Keeping warm in the winter is no easy task. A parka can help in ways you thought impossible. The epitome of winter coats, the parka is used in the coldest spots on Earth. From Moscow to Chicago and all cold points in between, parkas are the standard for staying warm and cozy on the coldest of days. Our collection of these unique winter coats is expansive. We've got them in all styles, colors and thickness. For the active souls we have coats that you can be aerobic in and for those extra-cold days, we have coats that will keep you from freezing - no matter what.

Take, for example, the Canada Goose Constable Parka. Coming from a line of coats designed for the Special Forces, this coat is as functional as it gets. It features a plethora of pockets for all of your winter accessories, including side zip pockets for venting. With a detachable hood and its poly-cotton Arctic-Tech outer shell, which is treated with Teflon fabric protector, this is a tough guy's winter coat. An all duck down filled body and sleeves, this coat isn't just for those sort-of-cold days, it's for the super-duper-cold days. With 100 percent down-proof nylon lining, a wind flap and hood, a three way heavy duty YKK front zipper and two chest pockets, this jacket will keep you warm, no matter the temperature or location.

For a day on the mountain with your buddies, the Columbia Whirlibird Parka is fully loaded to keep you warm. With patented Omni-Tech waterproof and breathable fabric along with seam sealing to keep the weather out and the fun in, this jacket also comes with a detachable hood. A mesh interior will keep you dry in the snow and a snap-back powder skirt keeps away the unwanted snow as you reach the bottom of that Black Diamond. A nice detail of this winter coat is the soft Chamois Touch tricot collar and chin guard to protect your face from the wind. It has clean lines and colors to finish off this versatile and advanced coat.

The Patagonia DAS Parka is seriously tough. It's insulation features PrimaLoft One - a hydrophobic, thermally efficient material that keeps you staying warm even when wet. It's more compressible than your standard insulation and takes up significantly less packing space - yet it's just as warm as your other winter coats. With a light and tough quad-ripstop shell and a durable water repellent finish, it sheds snow and blocks the wind. With an adjustable hood that fits over any helmet while still insulating your face. Think we're done? Think again. This coat features insulated hand warmer pockets, a chest pocket, inside mesh pockets for drying your gloves and an included stuff sack. Next time you may find yourself stranded in the winter, you better be wearing this coat.

Another breathable and waterproof option is the Marmot's Whitehorse Park for Men. Whether you're digging out your car from the snow or enjoying a brisk walk at night, the Marmot MemBrain fabric will keep you warm. Insulated with 650 fill down, this jacket will allow you to brave any storm due to its removable, insulated hood, the powder skirt and large front flap pockets.' Also included with this coat is an elastic draw cord waist and hem for a great, snug fit and an adjustable collar cord.

So if you're looking for a standard winter coat or if you're going for more of a tough, mountain top climbing jacket, we've got the right parka for you.
